Cyprus has four main golf courses, primarily concentrated around Paphos and Limassol. Aphrodite Hills Resort in Paphos features an 18-hole championship course with sea views. Minthis Resort, also near Paphos, offers a course set against the Troodos foothills with a historic monastery on the grounds. Elea Estate Golf Club, close to Paphos, is a newer championship-level course. Limassol Greens, near Limassol, rounds out the island's offering with a course that makes use of the natural terrain and Mediterranean vegetation.
Golf in Cyprus is playable year-round. March to May and September to November offer mild, pleasant conditions and are the most popular months for golf trips. June to August is warm to hot, better suited to early morning or late afternoon rounds. December to February is cooler but still playable, and this period often offers better value on packages and tee times.
Yes. Golf packages can be built around a mix of golfers and non-golfers in the same group. While part of the group plays, others can join wine tours, cultural excursions, spa and wellness activities, or seaside time at the same resort. This works particularly well for couples or families travelling together, since most golf resorts in Cyprus also offer beach access, dining, and leisure facilities on site.
Most golf courses are located near Paphos, which has its own international airport with direct flights from numerous European and UK cities, roughly 4.5 hours' flight time. Larnaca International Airport is the other main entry point and is a longer transfer to the Paphos-area courses, so guests flying into Larnaca should plan additional transfer time. We arrange transfers directly from either airport to the resort as part of the package.
Green fees can be included in the package price or arranged separately, depending on what the client prefers. A typical package includes accommodation and a set number of green fees at one or more courses, with the option to add extra rounds during the stay. We confirm exactly what's included, including any transfers, before the package is finalised, so there are no surprises on site.
Yes. Many of our golf packages are combined with wine tours to local vineyards, visits to mountain villages, or gastronomic experiences, since the main golf courses are within easy reach of Cyprus's wine regions and cultural sites. This suits groups who want a golf trip that isn't only about golf, and it's one of the more requested combinations we arrange.
Yes. We organise corporate golf days and golf tournaments as part of MICE and incentive programmes, including group tee times, scoring formats for corporate play, and award presentations afterward. This works well as a standalone team activity or as one component of a larger multi-day incentive programme in Cyprus.
